Hazelwood Lodge, Bunclody, Co Wexford
Hazelwood Lodge located in the scenic Slaney River Valley Special Area of Conservation is a new 2 & 3 storey tourist accommodation adjacent to Bunclody Golf & Fishing Club.
Byrne & Byrne Developments Ltd. contacted us to discuss their waterproofing requirements for this site that could be potentially challenging in places. They decided to use our Delta Amphibia pre-applied fully bonded membrane on the underside of the slab and external retaining walls. They also applied Koster Deuxan 2C crack-bridging, polymer modified bitumen thick film sealant to the inner RC walls providing a second level of waterproofing with the added benefit of radon protection. Finally in this phase, the external Delta Amphibia was protected with a layer of Delta Geo-Drain Quattro drainage & protection membrane prior to backfilling with stone.
